Colour formulas
For colour salons, the formula is the relationship. A client comes back six months later and you want to know exactly what mix she had — without scrolling through WhatsApps from January.
Chairtime stores colour formulas against the client record. After every colour service, log the formula. Next visit, it’s right there.
Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”Open the client (/platform/clients → tap a name) and switch to the
Colour Formula tab.
Log a formula
Section titled “Log a formula”- Client detail page → Colour Formula tab.
- Formula — free text. Whatever shorthand you use is fine (“60g 7/43 + 30g 7/0 + 6% peroxide 1:2”, or “Wella Koleston 9/0”).
- Developer — short note (“6%”, “20 vol”).
- Processing time (min) — number, optional.
- Result notes — what happened, what to tweak next time.
- Tap Save formula. It lands at the top of the colour history with the current date.
Reading the history
Section titled “Reading the history”Every saved formula shows in a list under the form, newest at the top, with the date. There is no edit-in-place — re-log a new formula at the next visit and the history grows.
What’s not built yet
Section titled “What’s not built yet”- Structured brand / product-line / shade fields — formulas are a single free-text field
- Backdated entries with a custom date — every save is timestamped to now
- Editing a saved formula — log a new one at the next visit instead
- Photo attachments — on the roadmap
