Client records
Clients at /platform/clients is your salon’s address book. Every
booking adds to the client’s history. Tap a client to open their full
profile.


What’s on the list page
Section titled “What’s on the list page”Each row shows:
- Name + a “deposit” or “no-shows” badge if applicable
- Email or cell (whichever you captured)
- Last visit date
- Visit count and lifetime spend
A search box at the top filters by name, email, or cell.
What a client record holds
Section titled “What a client record holds”Open a client to see three tabs:
- Overview — free-text notes (each timestamped) and a one-tap WhatsApp deep-link to their cell.
- Colour Formula — log and review past colour formulas (free text: formula, developer, processing time, result notes). See Colour formulas.
- History — every past appointment with date, service, total, and status.
The header also shows visit count, lifetime spend, and a Deposit required toggle so you can flag clients who need to prepay.
Add a client manually
Section titled “Add a client manually”/platform/clients→ tap + Client.- First name, last name, email, cell. Any combination works — at minimum a first or last name.
- Tap Add. The client is now searchable everywhere — booking flow, POS, walk-ins.
Auto-created from bookings
Section titled “Auto-created from bookings”When a brand-new client books online, Chairtime creates the record
automatically from the booking form. You’ll see it appear in
/platform/clients the moment the booking lands.
What’s not in client records today
Section titled “What’s not in client records today”- Tags (VIP / no-show risk) — not yet implemented
- Merge duplicates — not yet implemented; create a fresh record and archive (deactivate) the old by hand
- CSV export of the full client list — not yet implemented; the only export today is per-report CSV from Reports
- Date of birth + automated birthday outreach — not yet implemented
