Take a booking
There are three ways a booking lands on the board:
- You take it when the phone rings or a regular pops in.
- The client books online through your storefront link.
- A stylist adds it from the field after a quick consult.
This page covers the operator booking flow. For client self-service, see the storefront section below.
Phone-call booking — 20 seconds

From the today view or board, tap + New booking.

Pick the client. Start typing — existing clients autocomplete with their last visit, favourite stylist, and any allergy notes. New client? Tap + New client and add a name + cell number.

Pick a service. The form shows duration and price. Bundle multiple services (cut + colour) and Chairtime adds the durations for you.

Pick a stylist + time. The picker only offers stylists who can perform that service and only times where they have a free station.

Tap Book. Done. The booking lands on the board and the client gets a confirmation SMS or email.
Online bookings
Section titled “Online bookings”Your storefront lives at yoursalon.chairtime.co.za/storefront. Share that
link in your Instagram bio, on Google, in your email signature. Clients pick a
service → stylist → time and book themselves in. You get a notification; the
booking lands on the board automatically.


What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- The booking is confirmed (green) or awaiting deposit (gold).
- It appears on the board at the chosen time.
- The client gets a confirmation SMS or email.
- 24 hours before, Chairtime sends a reminder so you cut no-shows.
